One of the better places we tried this week. Shrimp were of good size and seemed far more fresh than most places around here. With a table of 8 we tired plenty and everyone was pleased. Enjoy!

This was, by far, our favorite restaurant on the island! The food was fresh and delicious, drinks were great and the view was fabulous! We would definitely go there again!

Food was great- and there was lots of it. The "popcorn" shrimp on the kids & lunch menu were actually bay shrimp that were pretty decent sized. The waitstaff were really friendly & helpful. Emma, who worked in the little store adjacent to the marina was great with the kids & really entertained them on the docks by showing them bait fish and letting them play with nets. Wonderful experience!

Dined here for the first time tonight. The views from the dining room are spectacular, make sure you get a window seat! We caught the end of the sunset over the marsh and Pine Island, and it was breath taking. Our service was good. Word of advice, you do NOT need an appetizer because the dinner portions are enormous. We made the mistake of ordering clams for an app and also got complimentary crab dip. Both were good. Then my husband ordered the "tri bo" a combination of scallops, fried shrimp, and fried flounder. It was an actual platter of food with green beans and French fries. I ordered the fried shrimp with a side salad. The shrimp were large and the breading was delicious, I didn't even use cocktail or tartar sauce with them because they tasted so wonderful alone. The fries were also really good, and so were the green beans. We ended up with two large to go boxes and will have enough or more than enough for lunch tomorrow! Great food. Enormous portions. Our waiter used to work at whaleys and noted the portions at Presley's are WAY bigger. So go and enjoy and prepare to over eat!

Food was not good. Tried the fried shrimp the first night, nothing special. The next evening set outside and ordered bowl of she crab soup. Received the thickest crab gravy you have ever seen. Two nights in a row awful! Never again!

Great food great service! Brought in 9 people on a Saturday night and got sat with little wait. Took a while for the food to get out but understandable since there was a lot of us and it was a small place. Well worth the wait. Everyone ordered something different and everyone LOVED their meal! The grouper is the best on the menu, but the scallops weren't the greatest. Fun environment too!

Delicious food and a great view! We had a party of 7 and we waited 15 mins for a table. Waiting didn't really bother us too much because we weren't starving, but we got a complementary slice of cheesecake for waiting! We really wanted to eat outside on the dock however it was apparently closed and we ate inside instead. I'd go back, order the hush puppies!

Great little bar/restaurant to find some fresh seafood. Low Country Boil was good and my son had the Shrimp and Grits and said they were great. Service was good but I could see where you might have a long wait on the weekends due to the limited seating. View of the creek and marsh were great and the outdoor seating would have been good but it was raining while we are. Portions were good sized and the value was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night at 6pm with a party of 7 and got seated immediately.

They have the best view on the island, Nothing we ordered was exceptional. The shrimp scampi was like eating straw. The main problem is that we almost took or order to go because we were freezing.

Hidden gem! We stumbled upon this lovely location and enjoyed delicious food, excellent service, and an amazing view.

Ate here with a group. Tried to call ahead but they did not take reservations. It took 1.5 hours to get first bite of food then salads and entrees were served at the same time - appetizers were forgotten. One person never got their meal! Others that arrived after us were served & paid for their bills before we were told some items were no longer available. Food was sub-par. We were able to order one round of drinks from the bar but never able to get more. Server blamed it on the computer system but the computer wasn't needed to get drinks or water. One dish tastes like bleach. All around a horrible experience. Would not recommend ever. Also "owner" was not concerned that we were having problems with service or food as she was sitting at the bar after one person cancelled their order after 2 hours of waiting for food... We are still here waiting for our bills as I wrote this review....

Went here twice during a vacation week. Had a variety of dishes -- all excellent. Definitely best of the week from shrimp boil to glazed salmon. Great service too. and the view -- was worth going for alone

This is a restaurant at the Marina. It's casual as befits Edisto. You can eat upstairs or down on the dock during the summer season. Right now you have to go upstairs but there will be an elevator soon. The food was reasonably priced and you got plenty! We had the Shem creek shrimp and low country boil. You start with a complimentary shrimp dip. Staff is friendly and the service was good.

A very bad experience. Tried to make reservations for a party of 8, however they do not take reservations. We arrived and were told me must split up into 2 parties of 4 to be seated. We agreed and were promptly seated and ordered drinks from the bar. Our drinks arrived and that was the last thing we saw to eat or drink until walking out after 1.5 hours of waiting. The other 4 in the party were served. Another party of 8 were seated beside us about 10 minutes after we were seated and they had their food and were half way through and we still had nothing. I did email the restaurant and have had no reply. Would not recommend.

Having eaten at Red's Icehouse at Bohicket Marina the day before (awesome!!), Pressley's paled by comparison. We were so hoping for a good restaurant with a great view on Edisto, but were disappointed by the food. The crabcake was overpriced at 13 bucks for one flattened cake. Then my Caesar salad had sub par croutons--saturated with oil, for the most part mushy, and not much taste. My husband's fried oysters were good, but the batter on his fried scallops and flounder was soggy. The service was good and the management seemed to genuinely want to know what we thought so we told them, after which they comped my salad and gave us a free dessert (key lime pie--very nice!). We will go back because they had a great attitude and were so nice. But the jury is still out on the food. My advice would be to hire one of the bonafide Edisto Island fry cooks who are among the world's best, IMHO.

We were really bummed. They only have a lunch menu from 11am to 3 pm. Most of the items were fried. We ended up getting a fish taco made with fried Flounder. It really was good, but we had our sights set on fresh fish. And not fried. The place was clean and the service was great. I guess if we're in the area again we will have to go after 3pm for dinner. I only gave it 3 stars because I wasn't a fan of the lunch menu. I can get fried food anywhere.

This is our second visit, first was August '13. I found the prices had jumped substantially since our last visit. An entree was in the 20-$25 range now. Because of the cost we scaled back and just had the fried flounder sandwich which was delicious. Interestingly enough, there wasn't a lot of seafood selections on the menu. No shrimp and grits - boy, was I bummed! Sunset views were beautiful. We're sad that such promising start has taken a turn for the worse. Next time we're off to Whaley's.

Tried to celebrate a 16th anniversary there, but the restaurant must be doing well enough that customers are not that important, more will be coming in. We left without trying the food after being treated with less than simple respect. Best of luck to those who follow. It looked liked a fun place to celebrate.

The view at sunset is wonderful, as are the food and sevice. She crab soup, a crab cake, a glass of wine; what a way to end the day

Make sure if you eat at this restaurant that you do not plan to pay for your meal with an American Express Gift Card! This was my first time on the island and this restaurant and we had had several glasses of wine, an okay dinner as I have had better. Fried shrimp not cooked enough (chewy) and when we told the waitress her comment was "Oh I am sorry. Are you done?" I gave her my gift card and was told they accept American Express Credit cards but not American Express gift cards because it doesn't have my name on it, I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! I was there visiting a friend and it was very embarrassing because I only brought that card with me to the restaurant because I have never heard of not accepting gift cards! I did not make a scene and my friend who lives on the island had to go home and get a credit card while I waited there. I will be contacting the Manager!

You gotta try the she-crab soup. One of the BEST in the low country! Menu is very geared to fresh local seafood and its very good.Shrimp on Edisto are great. Staff here is very friendly.View of the creek and tidal marsh are wonderful especially in the evening. Give it a try, you'll like it too.

Great friendly service. Phenomenal panoramic view. Kids had popcorn shrimp which they liked. Shrimp / grits - solid with lots of shrimp. She crab - mediocre with some shells. Would come back.

Had she crab soup, crab dip an brown sugar salmon. Best meal I've had all week. Really love the view of the Marina from there!

Menu expanding from initial opening. Getting better everyday. Will be great fine dining option when full menu is implemented. Dockside music is great with bar and food service available on the marina dock. One if the owners has a great italian restaurant and he says he is bringing some popular italian dishes soon. Looking forward to trying new menu items every week.

Just went to the Presley at the marina restaurant the food was cold the potato was reheated the salmon was not fresh I hope the chef will see these errors because we do want it to succeed

Beautiful setting here. The service was efficient and the food was hot and delicious. One of the best places to get seafood on the island. We will be taking guests here frequently in the future!
